The end of our adventure in the USA
July 20, 2011 No Comments
Back in February we started a nice adventure that made me felt so happy and motivated: driving for the Firestone Indy Lights Series in the US, because when I was younger, my dream was always to have the chance to drive in tracks like Indianapolis.
We have done a great season, winning at Barber, a 3rd position at Indianapolis in our first race in an oval track or the great race we did at the Sukup 100 finishing 4th after starting 14th.
Unfortunately, the current financial climate and the lack of economic support from potential new sponsors makes impossible for us to finish the current season.
We are upset and angry because we cannot reach the end of our challenge. Because we cannot defend our 4th position in the championship and try to achive the top position.
I want say thanks to all the people that has been supporting my adventure: my family, my personal team, Team Moore Racing, my sponsors, all the journalist… and of course, to all the fans that has been pushing race by race. To all of you: thank you.
I promise to see you soon again at the track! Keep pushing!!
